      <p>
        State of the Map Latam is the annual conference for all mappers and
        OpenStreetMap users in Latin America. The first edition
        was held in Santiago de Chile in September, 2015. The 2016 edition will be
        in São Paulo (Brazil), from 25 to 27th November. Our program includes talks,
        panels, workshops and mapathons about the most diverse subjects related to
        the OpenStreetMap world.
      </p>
      <p>
        As well as OSM mappers, we will have attendees from Open Data communities, students,
        geoinformation professionals, companies, public institutions, etc.
      </p>
      <p>

      On Thursday night (November 24th) we will have two informal meetings:<br>
      <strong><a href="https://twitter.com/mapanauta/status/798918658923728896">Geochicas</a></strong>
      (only for women) at <strong>19:30</strong> and our <br>
      <strong>Welcome Drinks</strong> (open for everyone) at <strong>21:00</strong>.<br>
      Both meetings will happen on <a href="https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/4490913406">Drosophyla</a>.

              The first two days of the SotM Latam will be held at

              a public facility in downtown São Paulo, located in a place with good accommodation
              options and easy access to public transportation.

              The nearest subway stations are Anhangabaú (Line 3 - Red) and República (Line 3 - Red / Line 4 - Yellow).
