Improvement suggestion for editing "Date & Time"

Your idea.

In a document I insert a "Date & Time" field from the insert menu. If I want to change later the display format, I can right click the "Date & Time" field and "Edit field" which opens the general field code editor.
If it is possible instead, it would be better if it opens the "Date & Time" window again because it is much easier to change there. Or maybe a combined view of the "Date & Time" edit window and code editor.
