Documentation re PLP package

Where can I find the documentation explaining the "analytical methods" behind the PLP package? I would like to better understand how this package works so I can describe it in the level of detail required in the "analytical methods" on the TRIPOD+AI guidelines.

In terms of the machine learning methods, the package uses other R/Python packages for that, but a binary classifier machine learning book should provide details about how these classifiers work (for example generic boosting (adaBoost, gradient boosting), bagging (random forest), neural networks, etc.).
