After installing Nekobox and running it, I no longer have access to the Internet. It says: Internet, but no access to the Internet. I tried rebooting the laptop, uninstalling Nekobox, and clearing the Windows Firewall.

Did you turn off the proxy in the Windows settings? I've noticed that many clients like nekoray, v2rayN, or Hiddify don't automatically turn the Windows proxy back to its original state, meaning that they don't turn it off after disconnecting.

So please check it yourself—if it's still on and there's something written in the Address & port section and the use proxy server option is enabled, make sure to turn that button off to restore the internet on your system.

To disable the proxy, you can turn off both manual and automatic proxy settings.

1. Open settings:

Press Windows + I to open the Settings app, or click the Start menu and select the gear icon.Navigate to Network & internet in the left sidebar.

In the Network & internet section, scroll down and click Proxy. You’ll see two sections: Automatic proxy setup and Manual proxy setup.

2. Disable Manual Proxy:

Under Manual proxy setup, click Set up next to Use a proxy server.In the dialog box, toggle Use a proxy server to Off.Click Save.

3. Disable Automatic Proxy:

Under Automatic proxy setup, toggle Automatically detect settings to Off.If a script is configured, click Set up next to Use setup script, toggle Use setup script to Off, and click Save.

4. Verify:

Open a browser and confirm that internet access works without the proxy. You should no longer be routed through the proxy server.
