ONTAP Rest/PestPerf metrics has some missing parts. #3268
Comments
@r-kw1-bus Could you please provide the names of the metrics that have these gaps? Could you upload the Harvest logs at the following link: https://upload.nabox.org/pybe-jono-pezo? You can refer to the documentation here for log collection: Log Collection Guide. |
@r-kw1-bus Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, please provide the details as outlined in the following link: |
@rahulguptajss Sorry for the late reply.
Yes. The problem is still ongoing.
Almost all metrics have gaps. We have also created our own exporter that uses the Rest API in addition to harvest, but we have not had the same problem with it.
I'm sorry. |
Sure, could you please provide your Harvest version? Additionally, several improvements have been made in our latest release, which you can find here: Harvest 24.11.1. Please update to this version, and if the issue persists, share the logs with us. |
@r-kw1-bus Any updates on this issue? |
A note for the community
Problem
When using the Rest/RestPerf collector for ontap, metrics are missing in certain clusters as shown in the image.
This does not occur in all clusters, but occurs in clusters with a large number of resources such as SVMs or volumes.
(e.g. volume: 1000 or more, svm: 65 or more)
Also, it does not occur in case of Zapi/ZapiPerf collector.
Thank you for your confirmation.
