Ensure we're not using raw storages

Thanks to @FlorianDeconinck for noting that the microphysics translate test is still using raw storages instead of ndsl Quantities for arrays. This should be updated and we should find and correct any other instances

This is also a ndsl issue at large to be honest. We should transition to a state where storage is not something that reach users
