Incompatible with any mod that uses vanilla sunflowers

As the title says. Since this mod replaces vanilla sunflower generation, any mod that requires sunflower for recipes of new mechanics added will have its functionality broken. Is there any chance to have vanilla's sunflower behaviour and looks replaced instead of adding a new block/item?

It is still not fixed. I have several mods for cooking etc that uses vanilla sunflower, that will not work. And there are even no config.

Doesnt seem the author reads the issues page or curseforge comments anymore, seems the mod will remain game breaking unless theres other way to reach him

According to information on Discord, Ninni seems to be aware of the issue, but claims to have added the appropriate tags, and says that it's an issue of other mods that use sunflowers in recipes. I'm honestly not sold on that and there should definitely be an option to generate vanilla sunflower out of the box. However, I don't actually participate in that server (invites don't work), so I don't really know.

Crafting hummingbird feeder of Alex Mobs with vanilla and spawn sunflowers. As it can be seen there's no compatibility at all.

Another issue is that due to it removes vanilla sunflowers from creative inventory, it is also not shown in JEI item list and to find the recipe using that I need to work backwards from the recipe of an item that uses sunflower.

Ok I joined the server and commented about this, everyone's answer is "make datapack"... This is a mod issue, why should players have to deal with it?

I agree, at least provide a default datapack for us to download. Gatekeeping the rest of the content behind a mod breaking vanilla game chance is really scummy.

The author also ignores any comments about the issue in Discord, so for anynone interested this will probably never be fixed.

The optimal fix would be restoring vanilla sunflower gen with a datapack and making it drop spawn's seeds. I've been taking a look at spawn data files myself and I don't think it can be done since it seems spawn replaces vanilla sunflower at code level.
