The Leaderboard page currently shows "Failed to load leaderboard statistics. Please try again" instead of real data — the feature isn't functional yet, not just unstyled.
Acceptance criteria:
Root cause identified (missing endpoint, failed query, empty dataset mishandled as an error, etc.)
Leaderboard successfully loads and displays real aggregated data
