Problem Statement
Cinephage currently focuses on movies and TV shows, but there is no support for recurring sporting events such as Formula 1. Since F1 races don't appear in Discover, users cannot follow a season or automate downloads. This requires manually searching for every Grand Prix after each race weekend, which breaks the automation workflow.
Proposed Solution
Add support for recurring sports events, starting with Formula 1.
List the current F1 season in Discover.
Allow users to subscribe to an entire season.
Automatically search for and download each Grand Prix as it becomes available.
Organize races by Season and Round for seamless integration with media servers like Jellyfin.
This would let users subscribe once and have every race automatically added to their library throughout the season, eliminating the need for manual searches every race weekend.
