Smarter zooming

The key feature (imho) to tools like these is smart zooming - creating elements is of course just as important, but could be done in SVG editors like Inkscape if needed.

What I'd envision:
When focussing, I need the item to zoom in to 90% of the current screen size. I don't know if this can be done with SVG: presentations don't seem to scale?
groups/frames are the key elements in presentations. Currently, frames are visible blocks; I'd like 'invisible' or transparent frames as well (I assume the current way to accomplish this is making a frame with same border and inside colour as the background, and putting it on the background).

Would being able to add classes to frames solve the pb ?

eg you could have "bigYellowBorder", "Transparent", "RedBox" that you could choose to apply to each frame.

and you'd style the frame with css (haven't tried to do it manually with dizzy, but in general styling svg works kind of easy).

While I agree that it would be kinda awesome to have that kind of smart zooming, I'm not sure if the SVG DOM can give me good dimension data about the items on the canvas.. but I think most of the zooming issues can be resolved with better frames (:

Invisible frames will definitely come as own option on the toolbar, until then one can emulate them via CSS. You can add the following to your presentation to get them invisible during presentation:

   stroke: rgba(0,0,0,0);
   fill: rgba(0,0,0,0);
}
.path rect, .editor rect, .drawing rect{ /* really need to get those 3 unified as one class (o: */
   stroke: black;
   stroke-dasharray: 5,5;
}

The downside to this is, all frames are now invisible.. hope I find some time to code some proper solution for this soon. (:

I just talked to a colleague with a bit more understanding of SVG and CSS, he too didn't know if zooming could be done for example to 200% objects without losing aspect ratios.

Did I understand correctly the editor does not allow me to set zoom at all but dizzy.js library itself does? As the demo presentation zooms and pans..

I made custom zoom and invisible rects (and more :) in dev branch of my fork.
