[BUG] Entity Patting does not seem to work on any entity at all besides other players

The patting feature seems to not be working in anyway no matter what I try, it has only worked in a server where other players can be patted, but no other entities at all.

I have tested it with this mod(And it's depencies) being the only mods enabled, also with and without Create: Estrogen, and without Create all together, and it does not seem to work in any way.

I am on Windows 11
Minecraft 1.20.1
Java 17.0.12
I have tried both Forge version 47.4.10 and version 47.4.16
