An evaluation of the MapML polyfill was performed by members of the community from the AAACT team. Several major design considerations were raised that have implications both for authors of maps that use the MapML polyfill and for the polyfill itself. All evaluations were done on the [Restaurants map page](https://maps4html.org/experiments/screenreader/restaurants/), without the MapML map settings chrome extension installed
