MakeraCAM_Mac_v0.2.1.8.dmg - Main app language defaults to Chinese

Hi,

Just updated my local install that was in English with the latest v0.2.1.8
and the language defaulted to chinese.

Initial axis selection screen in in English

but main app is in Chinese.

Possible workarounds:

• Using a previous version before updating, go to Settings and choose English (so that he saves the setting rather than use the default)
• Edit the file language.json and add.
  { "name": "english" }

The solution @Nandox7 regarding loading .7 then saving the language and reloading .8 works. Thanks for the solution.

Editing C:\Program Files\Makera CAM\data\lang\language.json to say { "name": "English.json" } or { "name": "English.json" } did not work.

I uninstalled, v0.2.1.8, installed v0.2.1.7, and it was in English. I upgraded to v0.2.1.8, and it was in Chinese again. But I went to Settings (S) (2nd to last menu), clicked the 3rd line down, and selected English and now it is working fine.

I installed for All Users on Windows 11.
