Tabs cause path going through mode - collision

Adding tabs (auto) is ending up with a path that get through model.
Without tabs... no collision. I guess the issue is with the tabs being larger than model thickness and spreading from one side to the other.

I have the same issue. Without tabs it is working fine. When I turn tabs on, three lines are going through my model and they will destroy the model.
