Misleading error message in the initialization of the bed topo module

When a coupled MALI-SLM simulation dies due to failure in initializing the interpolation weights, the error message points to the check for the coupling interval. (e.g., "ERROR: Error occurred in check_SLM_coupling_interval.").

There needs to be proper error messaging related to mapping file initialization.
