Third-party components

The distributed npm dependencies keep their own licenses; their license texts ship inside
node_modules and are not modified by this project.

ImageForge bundles the upstream artifacts listed below. Each one is **unmodified**, its SHA-256
digest is pinned in the registry and verified before use, and its upstream revision, license text
and reproduction steps are recorded in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES/ under the project it comes from.

The components whose upstream is GPL-3.0-or-later or GPL-2.0-or-later are bundled as separate
programs and are compatible with this project's license. The KernelSU family's kernel modules are
GPL-2.0-only, which **cannot** be combined with AGPL-3.0-or-later: they are therefore neither
linked nor merged into this project. They are redistributed exactly as their projects distribute
them — as separate, unmodified programs, each under its own license, each with the upstream
revision and the corresponding source named in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES/.

Codecs and libraries:

  * liblz4 1.10.0  (BSD-2-Clause) - public/wasm/lz4.wasm, the reference LZ4 codec
  * bzip2 1.0.8    (BSD-like)    - public/wasm/bzip2.wasm, the reference bzip2 decompressor

Our own WebAssembly module (public/wasm/imageforge.wasm) is compiled from crates/imageforge-wasm
and links two permissively licensed Rust crates:

  * lzma-rust2 0.21.0 (Apache-2.0 OR MIT) - xz / LZMA2 streams
  * bzip2-rs 0.1.2 (MIT OR Apache-2.0) - bzip2 decoding for OTA payload blobs

Nothing else is bundled: no other third-party code, binary or dataset is part of this repository
or of the produced site.

ImageForge is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of
the projects named above, and their names, package identifiers and marks belong to their respective
authors. The names are used only to say which upstream release a bundled artifact came from and
which manager app a produced image requires.

Whenever code, binaries or artifacts from any of these projects are added to this
repository, the original LICENSE file, copyright notices and the exact upstream revision
MUST be copied into THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES/<project>/ before the change is merged. The
licenses of third-party components are never re-licensed or merged into the ImageForge
license.
