downgrade to 8.4.1 then delete setup.app with ssh ramdisk (you'll need arduino + usb host shield or raspberry pi pico for both the downgrade and the ramdisk, once you have either, check the wiki for checkm8-a5) |

Get an Arduino and a USB Host Shield or a Raspberry Pi Pico, follow checkm8-a5 instructions from the wiki, downgrade to 8.4.1, boot to ssh ramdisk, connect to ssh, mount the partitions, then run "rm /mnt1/Applications/Setup.app" and reboot the iPad.

it happens that my dumb sister doesnt check her emails and seems that her apple account got hacked last year. she last used her ipad on 2020 and now tried to use it but it kept asking for the password (which she forgot) and she can't restore it using iforgot cause it's asking a code from a strange number (it's even from another country, maybe from the hacker).
the situation is i'm trying a million ways to recover it but thank god apple is super safe but damn it I can't recover the password only using the email.
i've tried several ways and found this here, is there a way that i can factory restore without messing with this forgotten id? bro it sounds like i'm a thief but anyway....
