The form to request access doesn't provide adequate feedback ('invite code sent', 'check your email' or similar). The 'Sign in' screen mentions a waitlist, so if I'm being put on one I'd expect to be notified of it when/after submitting the form.
Why do I believe this to be an issue? Not having received an email after submitting the form and the feedback being a bit vague, I tired a couple times more before realizing there's a waitlist. Aside from the UX implications, this sounds like it could impact invite code distribution as well.

If users are not receiving any email or notifications after submitting the form or being directed to a waitlist, it would cause confusion that there is some error at their side. This would lead them to submit multiple forms which could negatively impact the invite code distribution.
To address this issue, it may be helpful to review the feedback provided on the form. Consider providing messages that the request has been received and make them aware of the waitlist. Additionally, providing an estimated wait time could also prevent users from multiple submissions..
