In my community, most people have access to the internet, but I’ve noticed that not everyone has up-to-date devices to take advantage of it fully. Some students use old laptops or phones that are slow, glitchy, or have problems running newer apps, making it harder to keep up with or participate in virtual activities. The limited access to certain devices creates a gap in how people experience and benefit from technology. A way we can change this is by pushing for more cheaper options for everyone to have access to certain tech. Making technology cheaper helps let as many people as possible have access to it.
