Interactable stars don't render on the 1.20 branch

This is the last thing needed for the port to be finished (minus the screen flash, which I can do later), but I have no idea how to fix it. Keeping this as a note here so we don't forget, or if someone else wants to look into it

ok i did some testing of my own in this. it does actually render. just they are invisible so you cannot see them. i edited the code a bit to make one forcibly spawn at the same area in the sky everytime and this is what i see
