Opening TIFF files

This looks really useful!

Most cameras produce TIFF files. Could you add the ability to open tiff files directly?
My experience with Matlab is very limited but it looks like it could open TIFF files natively.

I made a quick hacky script to convert tiff files.

file = "D:\data\2022-04-26_WALKER_DATA\01_CC-WALK\BEST\2d6\C1-20240724-140601_WT_aligned_drift_corrected.tif"


tiffInfo = imfinfo(file);  %# Get the TIFF file information
no_frame = numel(tiffInfo);    %# Get the number of images in the file\

for frame = 1 : no_frame
    w(:,:,frame) = imread(file, 'Index', frame,'Info', tiffInfo);

Thanks for this suggestion! I just added two files, tiff2mat.m and mat2tiff.m, for tiff import and export, respectively. The import function is based mainly on your code example. I changed a couple of things to make sure they are the inverse of each other. I will leave this issue open now, as these files should be mentioned in the README or doc.
