Feature Preview 0.7.0 - v3 Chatting

Please enjoy and try this new version with manual chatting.

Features:

• Manual Chatting option. Select user and press return to send the chat message
• Advanced debug menu with right mouse button
• Reduced bot detection
• Restructured code under the hood

Further information regarding chatting and following:

• Commands like chat or follow are executed within 10s, please be patient
• Check beforehand, if a chat has restrictions (e.g. followers only)
• If "detected" is True, following will not work, but chat will.
• Please use the debug menu to diagnose issues

Add your twitch tokens to the following file: /proxy/twitch_token_list.txt. You can extract your tokens following this tutorial.

• Add a new dedicated tab to the GUI for chatting and automatic chatting settings, like timers.
• Chat messages loaded from file and posted automatically via time interval.
• Persistent pairs of auth_tokens and proxies.
• Verification, per instance, that the chat functionality is established and working.
• Option to choose between spawning of a full or light functionality instance (to possibly reduce workload).
• Somehow hide or zoomback on cookie banner, that is confusing in headless mode.

Tested it out, and it seems to have an issue with current auth tokens and none of them will show blue. it says something like "token did not result in: auth:jdij..." .

Does it work in the previous version? The log message should read "Token did not result in a successful login".
Please double-check if your tokens are working. E.g. after a password reset, the tokens are refreshed.

I'm getting hit with "Selected user to chat is not available anymore.". It was working and I changed nothing. Is it on a timer?

Hey and welcome. Thank you for your feedback. This message means, that there is no instance with the user logged in, so you are unable to chat with this user atm. Please check via the debug menu, if the user is logged in. Does it appear in the dropdown list? Maybe the instance belonging to this user died? What was the time window between it first working and not working anymore?

Hi!

I tested the app for 2 days. Here's what I noticed:

• V2 performs better than V3 (by 120%), but it lacks the chat option, obviously, for me is perfect.
• When a stream is live in 1080p, some instances close. This might be due to the default option selected in instances being "auto," which should ideally be set to the lower available quality. This also affects performance.

These are my assumptions since I can't see specific lines of code, but this information could be useful for newer versions.

Hi @mesoluciones. These tests and information are precisely what I need. It is fascinating to see how big the performance impact is due to having the chat open.

• Do you mean that V2 delivers 20% more performance, i.e., more instances?
• Normally the lowest possible resolution should be automatically selected, is that not the case?

Square boxes many times turn yellow instead of blue or green, however Twitch apparently counts them as viewers for me.

From what I have diagnosed, this is just when an Advertisement etc has appeared on the screen. Sometimes it will be loading, if you boot without headless to view what is happening. You will be able to confirm :)

hey @dedecwtf. Thank you very much for your feedback and support. Positive feedback is vital. Due to negative response bias, most of my interactions with users are regarding their technical issues. Currently, I don't have much spare time, but will put in more work for v4 soon *tm.
