Keep attempt count the same when swapping between persistent checkpoints

When swapping between persistent checkpoints, the total attempt count on the level increases by one, rather than staying the same.

I would like an option to have the total attempt count on the level to stay the same when swapping between persistent checkpoints, like how some Startpos Switchers work.

Describe alternatives you've considered
This could also simply be implemented as the default behavior rather than a toggleable option.

Yeah, I don't see why this should be an option, I'll just make it the default.

After the new version, I'm still getting incremented attempt count after every swap between checkpoints. e.g I can switch between checkpoints 100 times on a level and it adds 100 to the total attempt counter on the level.
