Current Behavior

App stuck on splash screen

Expected Behavior

Should open to the main screen

Steps to reproduce

1. I opened the app
2. It didn't open

Just helping out the maintainer, can you please state the Android version as well? Grab logs via ADB if possible.

Have u tried deinstalling v3.7.1 and cleanly install v3.8.0 I was Stuck on Splashscreen too, but a clean reinstall fixed it for me

This issue was there when I installed v3.7.0 then after some time when I installed v3.7.1 then it used to get open but again after some time this issue again started and the app was stuck on splash screen

Now I have deleted v3.7.1 and installed v3.8.0 but let's see if this issue comes again or not

Same issue here with version 3.8.2 from F-droid, on Android Oreo (8.0). I'd provide adb logcat logs if possible, but that phone near its end of life, and usb data are hard to catch nowadays due to dysfunctional usb port.
Note that despite the application encountering an issue, it looks like it's running in the background since install and before I launched it even once, placing first on energy consumption on a mainly idle phone.

This is happenning again: cannot use the app.
As pointed on the previous comment, it's still consuming energy: 35 % of the consume and I can't even use it!

Related or same to #1791, but now it doesn't matter if I kill the process, that always stays on the launch screen.

EDIT: forcing the app to quit via settings did solve the problem.
