Why does publishing a project ask for a repo and not just use the one already configured for the agama project

Does it ask for a repo so that you have the flexibility to push to another repo?
If so, that could be useful, but would be nice if it asked the question first of whether you want to just publish to your existing project or somewhere else to be more clear.
If not, why does it not know about the current project already configured for the agama project?
