Windows version doesn't update online status

Windows client reports that I'm away even when I'm at computer and when I have focus on JabbR.Deskopt app.

The online status only gets changed when you start typing, which is by design. A user's online status is also controlled by the server, not the app so the only way to update ones online status would be to fake the user typing, which might not be the best way to go.

In web version user only has to focus on JabbR tab and doesn't have to type. Maybe protocol added this possibility.
