As discussed in #10 there does not actually seem to be a bit performance difference on if we filter results at the outset from within GCAM Fusion or just return all results and let users filter/summarize/aggregate using higher level tools explicitly on the backend. After #10 it no longer has much bearing on syntax as the default syntax is to just return all results. However from a long term maintenance point of view it probably makes sense to just deprecate the feature.
