Display of badges in papers with artifacts

I can't say that I fully understand this issue, but Usenix has a package for displaying badges in the PDF for a paper with an artifact and maybe a standalone appendix for an artifact. If CiC starts collecting artifacts then we might want to extend iacrcc.cls with this capability. I suspect it would be better to create an independent package iacrbadges.sty and put it in CTAN so that it could be used in LNCS, ToSC, and TCHES papers as well.

For CiC we are currently discussing how to best incorporate artifacts and the associated badges. As far as I understand how the Transactions (and IACR conferences) deal with artifacts is that accepted papers are invited to submit their artifact after the submission of the final paper. If we assume that final versions should not be adjusted then these badges are only displayed on the HTML page and not on the PDF.
