I'm running the model for the period of 01-Jan-2015 00:00 hours till 01-Dec-2023 00:00 hours using CHRS Forcing as a warmup period and dropping a state at 01-Dec-2023 00:00 hours. From 01-Dec-2023 01:00 hours, I'm switching the forcing to different 'umreg5' data products till 04-Dec-2023 03:00 hours. I find that the model doesn't save the states with the output values of the parameters like SM being 0.
Moreover, running the model without warmup period from 01-Jan-2015 00:00 hours till 04-Dec-2023 03:00 hours outputs the runoff from starting till the end date in csv format as well as in output grids using EF5v1.3.3.
Your environment
Ubuntu 24.04 Native.
Ubuntu 22.04.03 on Windows Subsystem for Linux for Windows 10/11.
Steps to reproduce
Run the EF5 binary in Linux environment with the provided data and control file in the zip file.
Check the states folder and output folder for the produced results.
Un-comment the warmup period and run the model again to see the states are still equals to 0.
Expected behavior
The model should output the states correctly after the warmup period with some values after the run for 8+years on hourly data.
Actual behavior
The states are not changing even after 2-3 runs and stuck on 0 values. Check savedRun folder for the produced output.
