I found this project for annotating pdf files. Hopefully it would be a good starting point for pdf annotation in label studio.

It seems like the UI is in a separate repo: https://github.com/paperai/anno-ui.

Do we know if there will be any efforts made on this plugin? I would be happy to contribute, but I am new to LS, so I would defer leadership and decision making to perhaps someone from heartexlabs.

@kskyten @smohan123 We can't use this plugin inside of LS, because it breaks our internal conceptions and LSF engine. However, this is a good example of what this might look like.

Right now you can convert pdf => html and do HTML labeling using LS.
