Any way to specify the collective to write back to?

I have two collectives that house tag data. The primary and secondary. The data is supposed to be buffered from the primary to the secondary as a sort of backup.

Is there any way to specify which collective that I write tag values back to?

Is a collective a server? In that case you can specify the server when calling PI.PIServer.
