🐧 TRAE for Linux — Update & Status

🏆 Part of the winning workflow for the 2025 TRAE Global Best Practice Challenge

Current status :

⚠️ Internal Testing CONCLUDED — Preparing for Release ⚠️

According to the latest spoilers and leaks from the TRAE Team, the internal testing phase for the Linux version has been successfully completed.

The technical development is now considered stable, and the project has been handed over to the marketing and distribution departments to coordinate the official launch.


🚧 Public Release Expectation

While a specific date has not been officially confirmed, the transition to the marketing stage indicates that:

  • The core engine is ready for Linux environments.
  • Distribution channels (Snap, Flatpak, AppImage, or .deb/.rpm) are being finalized.
  • Official documentation and landing pages are being prepared.

✅ What we know so far

  • Internal testing is over: The phase focused on stability and compatibility is done.
  • Active Preparation: The team is now working on the release logistics.
  • Priority: Linux support remains a high priority to complete the cross-platform ecosystem of TRAE.
