It is very interesting idea but I don't see any possibility to do this now. Maybe in future.

Every program can call this methods:

• System:LogRuntimeError
• System:LogDebugMessage
• System:LogWarningMessage

You can find the log file in "/LongOS/Logs/runtime.log".
Please correct me if it was not what you wanted to say.

Yeh the way of getting the stack trace is definitely a hack since we don't have access to Lua's debug API, but stack traces, as I'm sure you know, can be very handy for developers.

As for the logging, I'm sorry that I missed those files. You can ignore that part of the suggestion.
