Description:
Enabling interactivity and broader publishing capabilities on the Geo Web is a big unlock in our move to a MUD-based content layer. Parcels, the Commons, & augments need methods/systems that manage permissions. We need to develop a framework that allows open development of fine-grained, creative permissions. Examples include:
- Allowing anyone to publish/edit/remove content on a PCO parcel (namespace)
- Token-gating publishing capabilities on a PCO parcel
- Allowlisting publishing capabilities on a PCO parcel
- Allowing anyone to interact with an augment, but not remove or move it from a PCO parcel (eg write on a whiteboard or make a move on a chess set)
- Enforcing geolocation restrictions on making changes to the Commons
This project is part of the Geo Web Core Roadmap.
