Description
As a philologist, there are various kinds of searches, including fuzzy searches, I need to do on a moderately large text corpus (about 1 GB). I can successfully carry out this search:
ugrep -aZ 'eva.m ca.{5,38}yadi.{5,38}bhave' /.txt
(completes successfully returning hits correctly in about 11 seconds, typically).
When the distance becomes larger though, I receive an error message. Thus:
ugrep -aZ 'eva.m ca.{5,39}yadi.{5,39}bhave' /.txt
returns (in a little under 11 seconds, typically) this:
ugrep: error: error at position 122
x80-\xbf]*){5,39}bhave
___exceeds complexity limits
Are there ways to carry out the desired type of search without running into this limit?
With many thanks for ugrep, which even with some limits like this is an absolute dream tool for philologists,
