Genesis in a survey of 15 evolving agent systems — feedback invited

Hi Genesis community,
Genesis’s combination of persistent identity, deterministic verification, and governed self-modification makes it a valuable case for studying how agent systems develop through experience.

I’ve included it in Convergent Properties of Evolving Multiagent Institutions, a draft analysis of 15 systems’ growth trajectories through code, documentation, and recorded history.

The index measures each system’s development over time; it does not rank projects by capability or quality.

The Genesis assessment links its judgments to cited findings.

Does the trajectory capture the changes that mattered in Genesis’s development? I’d welcome corrections, missing evidence, and distinctions the rubric overlooks—particularly around the boundary between implemented machinery, verified behavior, and capabilities still under development.

These systems could also learn from examining each other’s repositories: tracing failures, studying the resulting safeguards, and testing whether those lessons transfer. Genesis’s self-modification and verification record offers useful material for that exchange.
