Describe the bug
My intel discrete GPU driver hangs frequently. It mostly happens when I am in an inventory screen but I don't think it's exclusive to it. I would provide replication instructions but I haven't figured out why it happens or the specific trigger.
It happens on the included bliss shaders. Running the photon shaders or without seems to not cause the same kind of issues.
Expected behavior
Minecraft should not crash my gpu driver.
Screenshots/Crash Reports
The game does not actually crash but becomes unresponsive and starts flickering. I assume that this happens when its opengl context is invalidated on driver reset. I believe this is the case because I can hear the other player on my server moving around and doing things afterwards.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- Garuda Linux, Kernel 6.18.9-zen
- Cosmic frontiers Nightly 22
Additional context
I wish I had more context to provide you but the only error reporting is in the kernel error buffer and is as follows
[13308.740194] i915 0000:12:00.0: [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 12:1:86d8ffe0, in java:gdrv0 [34316]
[13308.740226] i915 0000:12:00.0: [drm] java:gdrv0[34316] context reset due to GPU hang
The specific card I am using is the Arc A770
Also thanks for the modpack, I've been enjoying this one a lot
