Hello,
Kindly please provide more context to this code. So far, in Blender, it is required to go in "Composing" menu and tick "use nodes" otherwise the code throws erros. still after that its not generating anything in destination folder despite following instructions in the video.

Hey, I'd recommend checking out some of the forks of this script, but essentially this is a mini tutorial:

Script changes:

• download the script. add it into the blender Text Editor (should have a Play button in the middle).
• edit the script to your liking.
• I've added in print statements into mine so I know where it's up to, removed the normal map rendering cause I don't use it (yet), and put in a for-loop instead of hard coding cardinal directions.
• Add in the NLA strip names you've made into the code, otherwise they won't render.
• Set the target location to an absolute path.

Scene changes:

• Open up a terminal/shell first - then run Blender from the terminal/shell. This is so you can see what Blender is actually doing, as the script will appear to freeze Blender.
• make something you want rendered.
• add an Armature.
• animate it, pushing the edited track down. The NLA strip names is what the script will use, but you have to manually add those in to the script.
• add in a Camera. the sprites will be rendered based on the default camera in the scene. it's probably best if you don't animate the camera, cause the script rotates the armature to capture the different angles. (edit 2) you may need to set the obRoot variable to be the name of your mesh for it to rotate.
• set the thing you want rendered to use that Armature.
• select the Armature of the thing you want rendered, and then run the script.
• in the terminal/shell, you'll see the progress that the script is doing. without the terminal/shell open, it just looks like Blender is frozen up. The console inside Blender isn't reliable for this.
