Can you add ability to search packages in github?

For example: SimpleX Chat has an appimage version on github here: https://github.com/simplex-chat/simplex-chat/releases it would be great if pacsea can add this repo and could update the appimage packages for an app from github Like Obtainium but this is an android app, but similar.

I would be great we can select pre-releases and stable releases separately:)

For the moment this is outside the scope of Pacsea. I will add it to the community suggestions list, similar to ideas like Flathub or other non‑pacman/AUR sources, but right now the focus is on doing Arch repos and AUR really well.

In the future, if the project grows into a more general “app source hub” instead of an Arch‑only tool, I want to extend the scope with other integrations like GitHub/AppImage integration, Flathub and others.

Your suggested tool is a complete App written for a GUI not a standalone API (which is what I would need).

I would have to extract the code for it and implement it into a separate crate or directly into pacsea.

I will look into it, but I don't think it is as easy as you imagine 😅
