edit updates file after editor exits with non-zero exit code

If you run passage edit, modify and write the file in your editor, but then change your mind about keeping the change, there doesn't seem to be any way to prevent passage from updating the record. Using vim, I would expect to be able to abort the edit by exiting with :cq.
