Keyboard input on minute select

The way the current slider works is that you have to max out the slider before it allows larger ranges. This works fine for mobile devices, or when user the slider to input a number, but caused unexpected behavior when using a keyboard.

If I enter 45 minutes on the field, the value will change to 15 (the max at the time) and the range will then increase to 30. The slider should just honor whatever the user enters.
