Bug Description

Bash seems to fail using wcore. Wcore is also latest

Steps to Reproduce

Launch Wcore.
Use an AI model
Reads fine but times out using bash.

Expected Behavior

To go through without issues
Write files normally.

Actual Behavior

Reads but then once bash fails it just keeps re reading in a big loop.
Failed to execute command sandbox child timeout

Following up since this was consolidated into #754 and told to "follow #754 for updates" — closing the loop, since #754 is itself now closed and the update belongs here.

#754 did get a real, verified fix: wayland-core PR #207 ("probe_single_flight", merged 2026-07-11, shipped in wcore 0.12.21+), which fixed a genuine concurrency bug in the sandbox's availability probe. But that fix targets parallel tool-call races specifically — it doesn't touch plain serial command execution, which is what most reports in this cluster (including, most likely, this one) actually hit.

We found and fixed that separate, serial-execution bug cluster — an O(profile-size) ACL rewrite on every spawn, a restricted-token bug that breaks external .exe loading (STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND), and a cwd-canonicalization bug that breaks cmd.exe — tracked in #922, fix in FerroxLabs/wayland-core#254. If you're still hitting timeouts/empty output on a current build, this should be the fix.
