False boot_prompt_submit_verified on Claude receivers — #343 covered Codex/Cursor, Claude path reproduces on 0.4.27 #385

Description

@EtanHey

PR #343 fixed false submit receipts via Codex-queue and Cursor-response evidence — Claude receivers are the uncovered path, and it reproduced today on the current deployed build (only one daemon running, 0.4.27, verified by ps).

Repro (live, 2026-08-10 ~17:44)

skillcreatorClaude spawned a golemsClaude reviewer (spawn_agentgolemsClaude-ac457c96, surface:234). Response claimed boot_prompt_delivered: true, boot_prompt_submit_verified: true. Reality on screen: the prompt sat at the composer UNSUBMITTED, 0 tokens, $0.00 — the pane was showing "1 MCP server needs authentication · run /mcp" at boot time. The lane sat dead until cmuxlayerClaude sent a bare return, which submitted it (then: working, 57k tokens).

Suspected shape

Claude-receiver submit verification accepts evidence that doesn't distinguish "text in composer" from "text submitted" when the pane is in an interstitial state (MCP-auth prompt / trust dialog) at delivery time. #343's fail-closed correlation exists for Codex and Cursor; the Claude path needs the same: prompt text visible in SCROLLBACK above the working line, or a token/state movement — composer-echo is not submission (composer-wedge doctrine).

Refs: PR #343, #364 (instance 6 was the same false-verify on Codex).
