GeoPix 1.0.21 Crashes when opening PXLNode wizard

as soon as the pixelnode wizard is opened, and somewhere is clicked, it crashes and I have to perform a force-shutdown to stop the program. could you take a look at this?

selecting a node takes about 5 seconds to load; especially when scanning the network for devices (only 2 connected, laptop and esp8266).
not working on a dell xps 15 9550.
