SSH Clone > Password Error

Looking for some assistance. I'm trying to clone my site over SSH. Running latest EE on both servers. I run the following command:

ee site clone root@REMOTEIP:sourcewebsite clientwebsite

It prompts for a password but keeps prompting and not accepting my ssh password.

I confirmed outside of easyengine I can ssh to root@REMOTEIP with my password and it connects fine.

Any advice?

And more info, if I keep entering my password it seems to keep progressing through the steps
