[Bug] Monsters keep despawning when they appear

Describe the bug

When I go hunting for monsters, some of them always disappear as soon as I hit them.

To Reproduce

Go out looking for monsters and chances are, a lot of them will likely disappear once you hit them.

Expected behavior

I expect for mobs not to disappear when I hit them.

Apologies for the late response.

Yes, I hit them in claims. This feature is very annoying as every time I try to de zombify a villager, they always despawn. Mob spawning is on in my town, so to me it doesn't make sense.
