The engine framework keeps an internal message history but this is just for keeping track of duplicate messages.

Would be nice to implement internal message queue processing with the features:

Keep track of current message being processed in queue
Process all messages in queue
ability to clear message queue
Persist message queue

This enhances the engine in the sense that every webhook message is processed, one at a time.
