[BUG] Non-Minecraft Trees not growing

Issue Description

First noticed with Silent Gear Netherwood saplings.
Would not grow in any soil type despite codebase saying dirt.
Have tested other saplings such as Pams Apple Sapling and Ars Torchwood Sapling.
None grow in pots.

can confirm, I'm playing atm10 and they only grow minecraft ones. won't work with menril saplings or ars

Also playing ATM10 and can confirm most mod trees do not grow. I'm also having an issue where spruce saplings are only harvesting 1 log by default .

Can also associate these claims. Playing on NeoForge 1.21.1 - 21.1.216 with BotanyTrees 21.1.1 and BotanyPots 21.1.41 and no trees from Atmospheric, nor any from mods like Perfect Parity Neo: Pale Garden Awakens, will grow in the pots.

This issue is being overlooked, but I can associate with this and say that in ATM10 you can't grow Productive Trees' saplings in the botany pots, which is a shame seeing the amount you need for midgame...

can confirm, I'm on Neoforge with the most recent update of both Botany Pots and Botany Trees. Biomes o Plenty isn't working, but surprisingly the demon's dream fruit from Occultism works.

Looking at the code, I only see the recipes for the original minecraft trees. It seems like all the other mods are no onger supported.

I figured it would be like that. But then what's the point of the mod? Vanilla tree materials can be obtained by an infinity of other mods.
Adding support for other mods via the custom recipes API would be easy.

Yes, of course. So, why don't you submit a pull request? Modding is time consuming and I can understand, that the author's focus man be more on botanypots than botanytrees (as indicated by still open PR #93 and the issue related to that). As a modpack author myself and someone who plays RealLife™, I can fully understand that.

Tu support the author in a constructive way, I've started migrating the old recipes into the new 1.21 format here using Github coPilot and will create a pull request, when I am finished cleaning up and fixing the stuff to complicated for the AI.

However, even if @Darkhax does not want to merge pull requests, there are plenty other ways of solving the issue myself. Minecraft has the neat concept of datapacks and that is what I am using to test the code any way. And after putting some work into this, I actually found the mod Botany Trees: Cultivating Dreams, where someone else put in a lot of work...
