My tenderly test network is not coming up in metamask

I made the same mistake. During Create Virtual TestNet process I set the Chain ID to "Default" instead of "Custom." I had to recreate the Virtual TestNet and set it to Custom, and it worked.

What was wrong? I have the same problem

In the chain ID i did custom and wrote 11155111 instead of 111555111 so i guess it confused it to sepolia network or something

I also had to recreate my Virtual Test net with a different custom chain id, something like 1119999111.

For those who are facing issues with adding tenderly testnet to their metamask, try selecting sepolia as the parent network and changing its default chain-id by default, it is 11155111, and I added an extra 1 at last 111551111 and then tried adding to wallet and it got connected to my metamask. It worked for me

Patrick's guide is all anyone needs to add tenderly test network to their Metamask, but people are poor at following instructions properly.
