Use case: I’m using Integrated Tunnels to automate the Petal Apothecary from Botania. It requires items to be dropped on top of it, then it spits the result upwards and with some random lateral force. I placed a World Item Importer one block above the Apothecary, facing downwards. Sometimes it manages to grab the item as it’s coming up and out, but if it doesn’t grab it in that first moment, the lateral force moves it out of the one block space the Importer can see. The item then lands on the ground next to the Apothecary, outside of the Importer’s limited range.
Being able to increase the range of the Importer slightly, even just a block or two, would make it more comparable with item collector blocks from other mods—and much more useful.
I’d suggest adding the property “Range” to its various interaction types with a default of 1. Increasing it by 1 increases the radius of the area it can see, or just expands it that much outwards and that much to each side. Perhaps give it a single-digit range limit to keep it from being too ridiculous, to put it in the ballpark of other item collectors. (Far below Cyclic, which has one of the largest ranges out there.)
